The Star of the Show
The fleet of Revolution race cars on display and demonstration duty at Motorsport Days Live, drew huge levels of interest at Silverstone on Friday and Saturday last week. Not only impressing all those lucky enough to either have a passenger ride or a drive around the International circuit, but those seeing the cars for the first time.
Test drivers, James Abbott and Rob Wheldon (both already race winners in Revolutions) were on hand to demonstrate the dynamic capabilities of the cars, as they lapped very rapidly, despite the wet conditions. The management team were also all in attendance to speak to the many people at the show making enquiries about the racing plans for 2020 ahead of final aero update and engine tests in the next two weeks, which are expected to further improve lap times. Book your seat time below for first-hand experience.
As usual dates are provisional at this stage of the year, but the Sports Prototype Cup will be the main way to go racing in a Revolution in the UK, with dates at Donington, Silverstone, Oulton Park and Snetterton announced at the show.
For the second year of Revolution racing there will also be a French championship, with cars competing in the Tinseau Cup, which visits Le Mans for a test before racing at venues such as Magny Cours, Nogaro and Navarra with other European events being planned.
And as last year there will be whole host of winter testing available all around Europe through December, January and February, including Ascari, Estoril, Portimao and Aragon. So, if you want to escape the UK winter for some quality testing time to experience the cars for yourself please get in touch.
