Electronic Systems – Race Car Technician
This role would suit a graduate or similar
- Data analysis experience is essential
- Sound knowledge of all race car electronic systems, master calibration and data storage
- Good knowledge of Life Racing systems would be an advantage
- Good communication skills are key as is the ability to work in a pressure environment
- Full driving licence required, and flexibility to travel in the UK and overseas as & when required
- Some weekend work may be required
- Full- or part-time contractor considered.
Chief Mechanic (application period now expired)
The successful applicant will be experienced and time-served.
The job role will include;
- Leading prototype car builds
- Final development of processes into production in 2020
- Building a Technical Support team
- Training engineers and dealers
- Building a Race Team and Support Team
- Leading on-going product development
A full UK driving licence and passport are essential, as the role will require UK and overseas travel, and weekend work
Parts / Stores person (application period now expired)
The role would suit an either an experienced candidate or a junior trainee position
The successful candidate will understand and possess:
- Basic understanding of preferably race car parts and assemblies
- Computer / IT literacy is essential (MS Office/Excel)
- Take responsibility for full goods inwards / outwards processes
- Keep inventory software (Dear Systems) up-to-date at all times
- Be pro-active with a positive mindset and a drive to learn and take on new tasks
- Knowledge of proprietary parts systems would be an advantage
- Must be able to drive, as occasional travel may be required
- Some weekend work will be required
Engineering & Parts Buyer (application period now expired)
The successful applicant will demonstrate;
- Good knowledge of all engineering principles and manufacturing processes
- Familiarity with Bills of Materials for accurate monitoring and refinement
- Show significant experience in purchasing and supply chain management
- Prepare and schedule purchase orders, monitor lead times and ensure on-time deliveries both in and out
- Run stock simulations for the production and finance teams, including forecasting stock requirements and production capacity as well as stock analysis
- Adding value by cost reduction, on-time delivery scheduling & quality control
- Must be able to drive, as occasional travel may be required
- Some weekend work may be required
