Sports Prototype Cup : Le Mans announced as 2023 finale

The Sports Prototype Cup is delighted to announce that the final races of the 2023 season will take place at the legendary Le Mans circuit on November 10 - 12.

This continues a tradition of providing Cup drivers with the opportunity to race at Europe's greatest circuits, bringing an epic 2023 season to a peak grand finale after rounds at Barcelona, Silverstone, Donington and Spa.

The calendar announcement was triggered by the Portimão host race being rescheduled to 2024.

The Le Mans event will take place on the Bugatti circuit, known for hosting world championships such as MotoGP. The Sports Prototype Cup has been invited by the French Trophee Tourisme Endurance series, ensuring a shared full grid of prototypes competing across three races. An additional endurance style race is included in the event, as our eleventh race of the year.

On offer are two formats to cater for solo and two-driver entries:

  • Solo driver: 2 x 20 min sprints. 1 x 40 min mini-enduro.

  • Two drivers: 2 x 20 min sprints (one driver each), 1 x 2 hour enduro.

Entries are now open.

This means the final rounds of the Sports Prototype Cup are:-

  • 13 - 15 Oct Spa Francorchamps

  • 10 - 12 Nov Le Mans Bugatti
