Last weekend, Russell Motorsport, the Korean dealer for Revolution Race Cars, made a striking Revolution debut at the Jeonnam GT festival with two entries of their Revolution 500SC models. The team's performance secured notable finishes of P2 and P4 overall in the festival's two-hour feature race on Sunday, amidst a crowded field of over 50 cars.
Randy Choi, behind the wheel of the number 40 Revolution 500SC, delivered a standout performance, clinching P2 in the Jeonnam Naegu two-hour endurance race. Meanwhile, his teammate Gerald Goh, driving car number 50, secured a commendable 4th place. Their achievements were particularly impressive considering the competitive nature of the grid.
The Jeonnam GT festival took place at the Korea International Circuit in Yeongam-gun, Jeollanam-do, spanning from the 12th to the 13th of the month. Established in 2014 as the Jeonnam Motorsports Petty Income, the festival aims to foster motorsports and automotive culture. This year's event saw a participation of 150 cars across various competitions.
The highlight of the festival was undoubtedly the Jeonnam Naegu two-hour endurance race on Sunday, renowned as Korea's longest endurance race. Featuring a diverse lineup of 50+ GT and Prototype race cars divided into four different classes, it provided a thrilling spectacle for motorsport enthusiasts.
