Revolution Dominates PSSA Season Finale Securing the Championship Clean Sweep and New 500 EVO Makes Winning Debut!

In a spectacular season finale at the legendary Circuit of the Americas (COTA), Revolution Race Cars celebrated an unprecedented clean sweep in the 2024 Prototype Sprint Series Association (PSSA) East and West Coast Championships, clinching both driversā€™ titles and the overall constructors' championship. Additionally, the U.S. debut of Revolutionā€™s new 500 EVO model was a resounding success, with all three 500 EVOs quickly proving their competitive prowess on the track.

The COTA season-ender saw a record-breaking grid of 30 prototypes, eight of which were Revolutions, vying for dominance in the sprint races. A total of 37 cars took part in the weekendā€™s enduro event: a thrilling hour-long endurance race that provided fans with wheel-to-wheel action between both Prototypes and GTā€™s.

Among the weekendā€™s key performances was Revolution Cup Champion and West Coast

PSSA Champion Ron Fletcherā€™s pole position in Q1 in his new Revolution 500 EVO, edging out Tim Day in his Ligier JSP325 LMP3. Securing a pole position over a renowned LMP3 on COTAā€™s long, fast layout underscored the power and handling of the Revolution 500 EVO.

In the first sprint race, Tim Day and his LMP3 struck back, taking the top spot whilst Fletcher, in his Revolution 500 EVO, was locked in an intense wheel-to-wheel battle with fellow Revolution 500 EVO driver Judd Miller. Miller narrowly edged out Fletcher with a daring last-lap move, securing P2 and P3 on the podium for Revolution, showcasing the fierce competition and skill of the Revolution drivers.

The hour-long endurance race on Sunday delivered a hard-fought overall victory for Revolution, with Nathan Duckles taking P1, closely followed by East Coast Champion Zac Mosely in P2. Judd Miller looked set to win in his Revolution 500 EVO, but a poorly-timed full-course yellow, followed by a black flag, cost him precious time in the pits. While Millerā€™s misfortune impacted his finish, it allowed Duckles and Moseley to seize the top spots and secured Revolutionā€™s overall win in the enduro.

The final sprint race, known as the PSSA Bell Golden Helmet Race, had a special prize for the victor: a brand-new golden Bell helmet. This time, Ron Fletcher took top honours in PS1 , showcasing the speed and reliability of the 500 EVO as he crossed the finish line in first.

With seven podiums over three races, Revolution wrapped up a season of total domination in the PSSA series, capturing both coast championships and solidifying its place as a premier force in prototype racing. The new 500 EVO, with its enhanced aerodynamics, traction, power, and safety features has already made a remarkable impact and is set to redefine prototype racing standards in the U.S. as more of these prototypes hit the grid in 2025.

For Revolution, 2024 was a season to rememberā€”and as anticipation builds for 2025, the Revolution 500 EVO looks poised to elevate competition to thrilling new heights.
