Revolution Race Cars are excited to announce the appointment of an exclusive Certified Dealer for Australia and New Zealand (reuniting a relationship that was established decades ago); welcoming Maurie Stang and Marc Stang’s Revolution Race Cars Australasia to a growing list of Certified Dealers around the world. In fact, this is the second such announcement detailing a new Certified Dealer in a week!
Based at the brand-new Australian Motorsport Innovation Precinct, Revolution Race Cars Australasia will be fielding a factory team in The Australian Prototype Series (APS) as well as the NSW SuperSport’s Series for the 2023/4 seasons. In addition, they will be holding regular customer track days with full “arrive and drive” support.
Revolution Race Cars Australasia is the brainchild of father and son duo Maurie and Marc Stang, together with team leader, Mark Williamson, who all have a rich history of establishing new race cars into the Australian market, having been the first importer of Radicals. That saw the Stang’s establish Radical Sportscars in Australia, including over a dozen customer cars and a dedicated support team, pioneering the introduction of prototype racing into Australia, paving the way for Wests and other cars to eventually create a dedicated prototype series. They then went on to enter factory teams that competed and won in multiple national series including AMRS.
Joining Revolution Race Cars Australasia is Mark Williamson. Mark is a highly experienced racing driver and instructor. With decades of involvement with open and closed wheel racing, Mark brings a wealth of experience as both the Revolution factory driver trainer and Revolution Australasia brand ambassador. Mark will be available to Revolution clients as their Head of Training and will help to familiarise customers with their new cars as well as head up the factory team in the APS and SuperSport’s Series. In 2009 Mark won the Asian Aston Martin Cup, and in 2011 won the Asian GT4 Championship driving the Concord Aston Martin. Mark travels the world as a GT car instructor and driver. He has 16 years of international experience in driver coaching and 20+ years as a professional international racing driver.
