Weathertech Raceway Laguna Seca was the venue for the latest instalment of the Sports Prototype Cup North America, and boy was the racing intense at the front!
A total of three races across the weekend saw six Revolution 500SC Race Cars do battle with a mixed grid of GT's, NP-01 prototypes and single seaters.
There were two 30 minute sprint races and an hour Enduro, which featured some 35 cars in total! Across the weekend, there were 5 free practice sessions, two qualifying sessions and three races! An enormous amount of seat time for all involved!
The front two spots were dominated by the battle between Ron Fletcher and Judd Miller III, with barely half a second splitting them all weekend in every race. Ron secured two wins in each sprint race whilst Judd was victories in the prestigious enduro.
P3 in each race was secured by Zac Moseley who had a terrific weekend, driving consistently throughout and was always in the hunt for the podium. In fact, in the Enduro race Zac shared the drive with Revolutions very own Head of Sales & Marketing Nigel Redwood (for his first race since 2009!).
The podium results were as follows:-
Feature Sprint Race 1
Ron Fletcher (Revolution RSR)
Judd Miller III (Esses Racing)
Zac Moseley (Classic Car Club Racing)
Feature Enduro Race

The fastest lap of the entire race meeting was secured by Marco Cencetti in one of the Classic Car Club Racings Revolution 500SC's. A stunning lap in the Enduro race saw him record an amazing time of 1:25.212. Watch a master at work below:-
