During the first week of February, Hankook joined forces with the Revolution Race Cars factory team at Homestead-Miami Speedway for an extensive tyre test involving both the 500SC and 500 EVO models.
As the official series sponsor of the Prototype Sprint Series Association (PSSA), Hankook aimed to evaluate a new tyre compound and sidewall construction designed to enhance performance and durabilty. To ensure comprehensive testing, the tyre manufacturer collaborated closely with the Revolution factory team and professional test drivers, putting the new compounds through rigorous assessments.
The two-day test session proved highly productive, yielding valuable data for both Hankook and Revolution. Engineers and drivers worked together to fine-tune tyre performance, gaining insights that will contribute to a successful 2025 campaign in both the Prototype Sprint Series Association and the Revolution Cup.
With the promising results from the Homestead test, both Hankook and Revolution will continue to work closely together as they continue their development ahead of the upcoming season.
