Formula Prototype Challenge Canada kicks off its Canadian leg

Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is the venue for the first round of the Canadian leg of the Formula Prototype Challenge Canda this weekend.


Canadian Tire Motorsport Park is a multi-track motorsport venue located north of Bowmanville, in Ontario, Canada, 64-kilometre east of Toronto. The facility features a 3.957 km, 10-turn road course; a 2.9 km advance driver and race driver training facility with a 0.402 km skid pad and a 1.5 km kart track.


The on track action specific to the Formula Prototype Challenge Canada is:-

Friday 5th May:

• Open test day


Saturday 6th May:

• Free practice 20 mins

• Qualifying 20 mins

• Feature race 1 30 mins


Sunday 7th May:

• Feature race 2 30 mins


Rilli Racing are entering multiple Revolution 427's. Rilli Racing Inc. was created January 2015 by Steffen Rilli to provide professional race car preparation and track side support. The company is specialising in professional motorsport support, strategising and team management services.


Formula Prototype Challenge Canda

FPCC was developed by racers for racers. Their objective is to build a competitive race grid in Canada that is both fast and safe, accommodating amateur racers as well as acting as a gateway for young talent interested in pursuing a career in professional motorsport.

Through the support of their partners, they are able to keep the series entrance fees low while maintaining a fun and exciting environment. The introduction of a minimum qualifying lap time ensures a fast and safe racing grid.

2 - 5 November COTA
