There's just a month to go before the Sports Prototype Cup moves to the UK for its next four rounds at Silverstone Grand Prix circuit and Donington Park on Saturday 20th May and Sunday 18th June respectively. After an 18-car opening round in Barcelona, we expect an even stronger grid at Silverstone Grand Prix circuit, thanks to the partnership with Zeo Prototypes, Britain's biggest prototype series.
This partnership gives an opportunity for drivers to choose whether to follow a UK or European calendar after the two joint events at Silverstone and Donington. To further strengthen this collaboration, a new award was introduced this year for the driver achieving the most wins across both series. The BRM Chronographes UK-European Trophy winner will receive an exclusive limited edition B.R.M. Hybrid watch, valued at £2,500, plus a bespoke trophy.
To maximise the track time and reducing logistics costs, both events will have two 30 minute races on one day. Silverstone will take place on Saturday May 20th and Donington on Sunday June 18th.
