Raw Motorsport boss, Rob Wheldon took two outright wins in the Sports Prototype Cup at Donington on Sunday, driving the Revolution in difficult conditions as rain showers brought experience, driving skill and the Revolution’s handling qualities to the fore.
‘The Revolution is very good in the wet,’ Rob said at the end if the meeting. ‘It’s a car that inspires confidence and when conditions are like this, you can really exploit it. I’ve been involved in the development programme through the winter and it’s very rewarding to now win races in it.’

Revolution Race Cars, the new British racing car constructor, has hailed their latest on-track success asa as a testament to their car’s innovative design and intensive development programme. Revolution A- One cars won all three races at last weekend’s Donington Park round of the UK Sports Prototype Cup in very challenging weather conditions. At Donington, the UK Sports Prototype Cup overall wins were shared between former MSA Formula 4 winner, James Abbott and Radical Challenge race winner Rob Wheldon.

Sir Chris Hoy will race a Revolution in the season-ending Sports Prototype Cup weekend at Portimao in Portugal.
The six-time Olympic champion has been keen to get behind the wheel since he saw the concept drawings last year and has been watching the project with interest.
Hoy, who raced in LMP2 at Le Mans in 2016, has become an experienced and successful race driver since he retired from cycling in 2013 and now competes regularly in everything from Caterhams to GT cars. He won the 2015 European LMP3 championship and is now looking forward to racing a prototype again.

With full production cars now available, the first customers were able to get the full Revolution experience at RMA’s track day at Silverstone this week.
After a winter of testing development prototypes in the UK and around Europe, the first batch of excited customers joined the Revolution team at the home of the British GP, to try this stunning new car before deliveries begin ahead of the opening round of the Sports Prototype Cup.
Everyone was blown away by the dramatic lines styled by Simon Cox and crafted by Pete Watts, before being thrilled by its performance and drivability on track. Many headlines have already been written about its visually spectacular, high-downforce body, and the technology used in creating a carbon-tub that is both energy and time efficient in its production.
