Raw Motorsport boss, Rob Wheldon took two outright wins in the Sports Prototype Cup at Donington on Sunday, driving the Revolution in difficult conditions as rain showers brought experience, driving skill and the Revolution’s handling qualities to the fore.

‘The Revolution is very good in the wet,’ Rob said at the end if the meeting.  ‘It’s a car that inspires confidence and when conditions are like this, you can really exploit it.  I’ve been involved in the development programme through the winter and it’s very rewarding to now win races in it.’

Revolution Race Cars, the new British racing car constructor, has hailed their latest on-track success asa as a testament to their car’s innovative design and intensive development programme. Revolution A- One cars won all three races at last weekend’s Donington Park round of the UK Sports Prototype Cup in very challenging weather conditions.

At Donington, the UK Sports Prototype Cup overall wins were shared between former MSA Formula 4 winner, James Abbott and Radical Challenge race winner Rob Wheldon.

We have selected two of the best track day organisers in the UK which offer days on the best UK race tracks. Following on from UK testing through November and December, the Revolution development team relocated to southern Portugal ensuring the exhaustive, high-quality testing could continue throughout the worst of the winter months.

AIA Portimao not only has the weather, but it also happens to be one of the most challenging racetracks anywhere in Europe, making it the perfect destination to validate aero performance and component reliability.

Over five days the Revolution prototype completed over 2000km in the hands of test drivers James Abbott and Rob Wheldon, with both able to enjoy clocking faster lap times than all the main competitors.
